  Unfortunately my experience was very negative by a very tall senior man. I was trying to have a look around as I had to make a decision where I will purchase my trees from, ( 6 large upright hornbeams, 2 quercus ilex, 3 photinia red robin, 2 large cedar trees and other smaller ones. Everything was extremely overpriced and the large photinias where in embarassingly bad state with about 90% of them being severely affected by black spot. - dear potential buyers do a little research and you will see what I am talking about! Overpriced and some very unhealthy plants. Hornbeams- the same hornbeam for 189 pounds inclusive of VAT elsewhere, at this nursery the price was 425 pounds for a tree with a girth of 2cm bigger than the other nursery. When you are about to buy that many trees you will end up paying thousands of pounds more than elsewhere. I am not advertising anyone here, therefore no other nursery is mentioned but people should well consider where to buy from. It is abuse of the buyers intelligence when overpricing like that!! The mycorrhizal fungi-empathy - priced 12.99 , online is 8.50 pounds and in every other nursery is maximum 10 pounds. I could not resist and when I said directly to this man, - I am not sure why, but you are significantly much more expensive than everywhere else, he arrogantly answered I have never had difficulty selling my trees!! and I replied '' this happens probably because your buyers do not do their research as they should''. Well I did not buy anything and this nursery lost a good few thousands of pounds. I am paying 60% less for the same trees, completely healthy, with free delivery and a warranty of 2 years from elsewhere. If you do not want to be ripped off, do your research.
